  • Learn about EMDR at a fraction of the price of alternative courses!

London - September 27-28 and October 25-26 2008

EMDR or Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing is one of the most significant and exciting developments in the treatment of psychological trauma and is supported by extensive research! EMDR is stated to be an empirically supported treatment choice for adult PTSD (NICE 2005)

EMDR has been found to be of benefit to children as well as adults. It is also increasingly used to help individuals with anxiety based issues including:

  • Childhood sexual and/or physical abuse, childhood neglect, bullying, natural disasters, assault, surgical trauma, road traffic accidents, workplace accidents, bereavement, pain disorders, panic attacks, phobias, addictions, dissociative disorders, war related experiences, body image disorders and performance anxiety.

"Having suffered from PTSD myself and worked through 8 years of talking based therapy where I struggled to verbalise and process something that no words could accurately describe, I prayed for something that could reach me and help turn the raw emotional trauma into a memory. I wish my therapist had been trained in EMDR as it would have helped speed up the process and alleviated the symptoms of my distress." - SM Essex
