Hi Chad,
I've just joined this list and have been reading the archives. I sent
a posting about amplifying the Kinnellen, and am wondering if the K@K
Twin pickup would work better than the single-headed Fishman. I do
seem to get that "annoying strong spot" which you mention, with the
Fishman. The pickup would have to be stuck on the front of the
soundboard, so I would appreciate any advice about postioning it,
taping down the pickup and wires so they are not so noticable etc If
it is any help, I could measure the dimensions of the soundboard. To
see what the Kinnellen looks like, go to

I also have a smaller 23-string harp, made by Lynne Lewandowski, and
might stick the Fishman pickup on it.

heads of the K&K Twin worked much better than the traditional single
headed ones I tried. Both pickup heads feed into a single amp plug
and covered all the harp's range so nothing was left out or weak.
Also the annoying "strong spot" sound of normal pickups is much
lessened.
