Hi Folks

Just been given an amazing set of CD Roms with untold fake books
stuff. First off is a 7500 tune (chords, words and melody) with
nearly 5000 pages. Second is about 800 tunes in 500 pages. Mostly
traditional but a fair number of swing and standard numbers and quite
a few hard to get verses.

Then there is a book of rags with parts for about 10 instruments -
Otto Weinman revival maybe for those who remember Reg.

There is a massive load of hymns but I suspect looking down the index
this is only for the devout amongst us as I didn't see any of the New
Orleans spirituals - not even the Saints.

Then there is a load of music programmes which I have no way of
evaluating but I can send a list for anyone who might be interested.

Finally there is a CD with a load of fake books with the modern
stuff, some of which have already been circulated but I can let you
have a copy. There is a master index which lists the tunes then tells
you which fake book it is in.
