Any jazz singer (male or female, professional or not) born after 31 December 1973 can apply for participation. A pre-selection of candidates, on the basis of a file and a recording, will be done by the jury. By 10 October 2008, the jury will select 12 singers to participate in concert in Brussels in December 2008. The Contest affords a unique opportunity for young vocalists with a background from jazz, folk, roots, blues to gain the recognition of an international audience. Closing Date for Registration 15th.
