Hi everyone
 
Helen the landlady of the Lord Hood got a letter from the developers on Friday saying they are revising their plans to include the Lord Hood pub.
The pub will lose the space at the side of the pub but gain a pub garden backing on to Bardsley Lane and St. Alpheges park. This has been approved by Jim Smith the Greenwich Council Planning Officer.  We feel this is an acceptable compromise and pending legal issues being tied up we can claim a victory.
 
Thanks to everyone who contributed by signing the petition, sending a letter, contributing to the fund and in many other ways. 
 
Best way to celebrate -come along to the events at the Hood during the Riverfront Jazz Festival -programme at
