Hi All

Just a notice about a unique event at the Lord Hood. It will happen on
Tuesday June 5th when a 9 piece brass band from the Treme District in
New Orleans will play from 12.30 p.m.-3.00.p.m. If you have never
heard a New Orleans marching band before it is an exhilarating
experience. Last year we raised £1000 from a similar event for the
devastated musicians in New Orleans and it was a memorable occasion.
There was even an opportunity for appropriate instrumentalists to join
in with the band.

Admission is free but we will hold a notes-only collection. This will
be their only public gig in the London area.

The Lord Hood is in Creek Road Greenwich, opposite the entrance to the
Cutty Sark Greenwich Maritime DLR station.
