Hi All

I have just joined the Society having made a coracle last summer. I got the
instructions
and lathes from Terry Kenny at the Stoke Goldington steam fayre; I have always
has a
hankering for one having built my own canoes. Just getting out on the water as
the
decent weather here has ideally to coincide with high tides as much of the
paddling is on
estuaries.
Quite keen to have a go at the Mortimers Cross weekend and a paddle on the River
Stour in September. I am quite into light weight backpacking and would be keen
to have a
go at a long weekend river journey some where with overnight camping!

Nigel
