Quentin an I have decided the first outing is going to be on the
Suffolk Essex Stour at 6 pm Saturday 31st June ( Next Saturday)
All are welcome. Just come for a paddle if you don't fancy fishing all
are welcome.
Directions
From Chelsford, Take the A12, then take the A120 from colchester
towards Harwich. At Horsley Cross roundabout (big watertower)turn left
towards Bradfield village. Turn right just after the TV mast into
Steam mill Lane.Go through Bradfield and after the church turn right
(opposite the Strangers Pub-this is also a camp site) into the Harwich
Road (B1232).After 1.7 miles, turn into Wheatsheaf lane, take the next
left after going under the railway. You should find Quentins Pickup at
the end in a sort of carpark. This is right by the sea wall with easy
access to the water. If you find yourself going through Wrabness, you
have probably gone too far. Distances are fairly accurate as I used
Google Earth.
