Lots of the professionals in the society think their presence on the Robin Hood
film set this week is unique to them personally.Sorry.We all know about it! See
you there!

The Relay Race Invite is now in its 5th edition & limited to people over 18 but
in the true Olympics tradition anyone can join it.

I`ve just posted off 500 postcards and 2000 stickers advertising the
Openweekend`s web site to many Young Farmers Clubs County Secretaries and they
have got to then send them off to the 20 to 30 clubs they represent. So there is
a good chance the actual young farmers themselves might not hear about the race
so I have just written to Farmers Weekly. Hopefully they will print the 5th
edition invite and advertise the film I just made with Peter and placed on You
Tube.

Yesterday I spent the day sticking posters up in a 10 mile radius and I`m going
round local factories emploring & cajoling! No one has offered free use of
portable toilets. No one has offered to lend me a coracle and I need 9.So I`m
thinking now of quickly knocking out a bunch of willow coracles and came to this
group just now looking for the address of the canvas supplier!

Ha Ha I was just having a laugh as usual

I`m not a professional so I wasnt there.

I was too busy here going round local factories inviting relay race teams and at
this time and date despite doing a mail shot to all the Young Farmers Clubs I
have exactly zero teams entered! and no scaffolding to build a landing and
launching platform.

Looks like another £1000 loss on another coracling event!

The object of the exercise of course was to get everyone to read the message
about the forthcoming event on July 25th!
