Subject: Mothing Event at Trelissick Gardens, Nr. Truro on 24th or 25th July
Hi Everyone,
A Mothing Event at Trelissick Gardens, Nr. Truro (SW838396) 24th July (Fallback
25th July if Friday is wet)
I've booked an open "Summer Moths" mothing event at this popular National Trust
Garden near the King Harry Ferry. There is usually an interesting selection of
species recorded here, so why not bring your sheet trap along on the night, or
just come along to support the event. It will be a great opportunity to show
visitors the diversity of the Summer Moths, and we always get something new for
the records as well. Get there a half hour before dusk to set up equipment, and
drive right through the bottom of the main car park to the closest part near the
gardens for parking. There are plenty of locations to set up trapping at, so we
can have a good coverage of the site.
Please let me know if you intend to come along and whether you will be trapping.
Check our web-site diary for other information.
Best wishes,
Tony
