AN INTRODUCTION TO MACRO-MOTH RECORDING

The aim of this workshop is to introduce students to some of the range
of macro
moths found in the UK, and to look at some of the trapping techniques
and equipment
that can be used to attract moths.

There will be an identification session of previously caught moths as
well as coaching
in moth trap types and their uses. There will be practical work in the
grounds of
Rosewarne setting up these traps and identifying the 'catch'.
