------
Just a reminder that the first of the regional conferences to discuss
the proposed National Macro-moth Recording Scheme takes place this
week-end at The Environment Centre, Swansea.
Further conferences take place in Perth on 13 December and at Warwick
University on 10 January.
As well as providing a unique opportunity to be involved in the
construction of a national recording scheme, these conferences
promise to be interesting events for moth enthusiasts with guest
speakers, workshop sessions, trade stands and the opportunity to
engage with other moth recorders. Travel expenses are even available
(up to £25 per person) for those attending.
Full details and booking available at www.mothrecording.org.uk
A questionnaire is also available on the above website. As well as
providing an opportunity to comment on the proposed scheme, it is
hoped that this survey will build a picture of the recording habits
of todays moth recorders.
