National Moth Night:

Saturday 22nd May - National Moth Night

Cornwall Wildlife Trust HQ, Five Acres, Allet, Truro

Overnight camping possible on request.

Sunday 23rd May - Kids National Moth Morning

Cornwall Wildlife Trust HQ, Five Acres, Allet, Truro
In the Wildlife Garden - 10am
A morning especially for children and families looking at the moths
we caught for National Moth Night
Leaders Richard Marsh and Nick Taylor
Organised by Cornwall Moth Group and Cornwall Wildlife Trusts Fox
Club.

Saturday 22nd May 2004 - Moth evening at Seaton Valley Local Nature
Reserve for National Moth Night

9pm to 11pm (approximately)
Organised by: Groundwork through the Caradon Wildspace! Project
Leader: Paul Wakelin from the Cornwall Moth Group
Event description: Come and discover some of the colourful moths
which are found at Seaton Valley Local Nature Reserve
Meet: Seaton Valley Country Park near Downderry, in the car park
nearest the play area (Grid ref. SX 304544)
Wear warm waterproof clothing and bring Moth ID guides (if you have
them!). In the event of heavy rain the event may have to be
cancelled, so if you will be travelling a long way to reach the
event, please call ahead on (07966) 792331.

Saturday 22nd May - Daytime searching

If you would be interested in looking for Narrow-bordered Bee Hawk-
moth, one of the target species, in order to spread coverage Mark
Tunmore is trying to co-ordinate a search of some of the historic
sites listed in Frank Smith's Moths and Butterflies of Cornwall and
the Isles of Scilly. Any offers of assistance would be welcome.
Assuming it doesn't rain of course!
