ERCCIS purchased a set of pheromones for the group last year.
But due to an admin mix up on our part they weren't used.
They are currently sitting in my fridge, I hope they have not been damaged
too much and will be of use this year.
I have never used them before, and there are no dates arranged yet for using
them.
I will be swamped under for the next couple of weeks, at least, so if anyone
would like to go ahead and make arrangements to use them I will make them
available.
Cheers
Jayne

Does anyone have recipes for moth pheromones?
It may just be possible to brew our own
I have found that the chemical dodecan 1 ol or lauryl alcohol is suppose to
be a pheromone associated with the following so far
summer fruit tortrix
pine shoot moth
codling moth
Ni moth
turnip moth
May not be the greatest but is a start and there is probably more to it than
just this chemical.
This chemical is not so expensive at about £12 for 250gms so would go a long
long way.
If I have some pheromone names I may be able to source and cost them. It
could be cheaper so may be a worthwhile exercise
