Anyone in the group interested in following up on this?
Sorry I haven't got time at the moment.
Cheers

Subject: collectors exhibition
Hi Jayne!
Can I sound you out about something .?
During the summer (July 11th - Aug 12th) we're running a small exhibition on
collectors past and present, based on the collections (of all disciplines)
within the museum and modern day equivalents. With regard to the
collections I'm responsible for, past collectors are not a problem - but
modern collectors are more difficult as collecting natural history in the
Victorian sense doesn't happen now, the emphasis is much more on collecting
information.
I thought this might be quite an interesting aspect to highlight and
wondered if the Moth Group would be a good example to use as an
illustration .. trapping, collecting information and recording etc.
What do you think? Would the moth group as a whole be interested in
featuring in the exhibition? It might be good publicity and would kick in
right after National Moth Night. It shouldn't involve much work on your
part, and obviously any text and images we wanted to use we'd run through
you first.
Let me know what you think and when would be a good time to call you up and
chat about this.
In haste,
S
