Re: [Cornwall Moth Group] Migrant moth

Hi Leon

I had another Delicate in the garden trap this morning (definately
not the same one as Monday mornings, as that's still potted awaiting
a photograph) and a Silver-Y. Just the usual apart from that.

I've started some ad-hoc trapping on a couple of local Cornwall
Wildlife Trust Reserves as well as at home, and last night was
magnificant in comparison to my recent catches at home. Two Heath
Traps pulled in 62 moths of 15 species, as opposed to my 125watt MV
at home which managed 14 moths of 7 species! Highlight from the Parc
Hoskyn reserve was a Peach Blossom - 4 weeks earlier than I've ever
recorded it.

Justin

Hi Justin Steve Madge also had a Delicate at Downderry last night. Still very quiet here at Torpoint, although I did get a Dark Sword Grass a couple of nights...
