Hi all
Caught a micro in the trap on Saturday night which I'm pretty sure is
436 Pseudoswammerdamia combinella.
It looks almost identical to the photo on UK Moths, with the
rusty/orange spot surrounded by a black border at the end of the
wing; white head and white patch at 'shoulders', followed by black
line and then rusty/orange diffused band. The only thing is
the 'general' wing colour appears lighter than the specimen
photographed - more of a mid grey colour with dark speckling. The UK
Moths photo does look a bit on the dark side though?
Is there anything else I could be confusing it with? I can't measure
wing length (as the moth is tubed) but body length is 8mm. Any help
would be much appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.

PS. I'd post a photo if I had a digital camera!
