We are delighted to inform you that our bid to HLF for funding for the
National Macro-Moth Recording Scheme has been successful. We are thrilled
with this outcome after such a lot of hard work over a long period.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who supported the
project during the Planning Phase as well as the many organisations who have
offered the matched funding for the scheme itself (although some additional
funding is still being sought). Both were crucial in showing the very wide
support we have for this project, at local and national levels.

Please do not contact BC at this stage with any major enquiries relating to
this scheme as, as I'm sure you will appreciate, we do not currently have
any staff in place on the project to deal with these, although we are quite
happy to field minor queries for the time being! There are still many
contractual details to sort out with HLF before we can plan the timetable to
the project in detail, but we will try to keep you informed as soon as we
know more.

We look forward to working with you in coming years on what I am sure will
be a fantastic project which will benefit moths and moth conservation.
