down here, normal rules don't necessarily apply in Cornwall.
Now I have a supplementary question for 15 points, you may confer...
I normally find the shapes of moths as illustrated in Waring &
Townsend to be very accurate but just lately I've had a few moths
which I've struggled with as they seemed completely the wrong shape
for the species I've provisionally identified them as. Do you find
moths at this time of year, Red Chestnuts for instance, wrap their
wings more tightly making them appear slimmer, longer and with the
outer edge perhaps angling back more sharply than usually
illustrated. Is this because of the cold?
