Hi John & all

Although I've had a few blank nights in the last week or so, I did get a couple
of E.postvittana and a Double-striped Pug last night (1st March). The habitat
surrounding my garden trap here in Torpoint is a bit suburban, so I don't get
many moths at this time of year. I've heard of a few records of early or
winter-flying moths in this area this week, though.

Leon.

Is anyone actually seeing any moths at the moment? If so, where are you
seeing them and in what conditions? Tried the trap here on a couple of
the more promising nights recently but only caught midges. And rain. I
think the problem here is it's too windy, even if the trap is sheltered
by the house the whole neighbourhood is too windy so nothing is flying.
Maybe if I went somewhere wooded it would be sheltered enough.
