This Forum is for discussion related to the Corris Railway. Please keep topics relevant-ish. Postings that are completely off-topic will be deleted and the originators prevented from further involvement with this Forum. By the same token, please keep language moderate and avoid personal remarks.

Membership of the list is open to members of the Corris Railway Society and others interested in Welsh narrow-gauge railways.

The rails in the Ratgoed valley were lifted around 1953. Those linking Aberllefenni Quarry to the cutting sheds were lifted in the early 1980s. Richard ...

Thanks Richard - very comprehensive - I last wandered up the Ratgoed Valley in the late 70s - I can't recall if 'rail' operations were still taking place.
