Corris Railway Crest   Message List

Richard,

Do you know where I can get a copy of the original Corris Railway Crest
(garter?)in jpeg, or similar, format? This is the crest which looks
like an ornate belt and buckle; it has an approximately oval shape,
with the words "CORRIS RAILWAY" embossed on the upper half of the belt,
these two words being separated by an iron-cross-like icon. (This crest
appears on the Society's t-shirts and also on the Home Page, towards
the upper right-hand corner. I believe it may also have appeared on
some of the original Corris carriages).

Incidently, the crest which appears on the Home Page is somewhat
different to that on the t-shirts. I think that the one on the t-shirts
is the most authentic. Would you agree?

thanks,

Steve Woodall
