Hi folks -
I know this gets asked now and again, but has anyone any up-to-date
info on whether it's possible for us overseas folk to join without a UK
bank a/c, via Paypal or whatever?
The website still says to print off the form and send a cheque. I know
you can use Paypal / credit cards for shop purchases, why not for
membership?

BTW - the same's true with other societies I'd like to support: WHRS,
Cambrian. It was only that I was in North Devon last summer that
allowed me at last to join L&B - though they are adding a Paypal
membership soon - you can do Paypal donations at the moment.

Sometime back I tried sending the membership fee via the Paypal
donation button, but I assume that was taken only as a donation as I
never received any membership materials...

Any thoughts welcome!!
