Corris members/fans may not be aware of the following.
There will be implications for CR too I am sure.
Loco exchanges? not likely to happen now this year or in the foreseeable future I fear.
We ALL need to go to the TR and spend some money I think!

This sad and worrying news.

Earlier in the year I went to the Talyllyn Railway to have a look. Usually I spend money in the shop at Wharf, but was disappointed to see the stock had not changed since the year before - there was nothing new. So I spent nothing...

The museum continues to be fantastic though.

And while the journey on the TR is nice it doesn't change year-on-year so I didn't ride either. Seeing Dolgoch in red and Talyllyn in black was great though.

Perhaps the TR could be re-invigorated if they had some of these?

By the way, I visited the TR after riding on the Corris Railway and spending over £60 in the shop.
New book, Tattoo book, glass, gold badge, silver badge, postcards etc...

The CR has that quintessential charm that sums up everything good about Welsh narrow gauge.

Michael Chapman.
