have decided with my inheritance to finally do my DNA study. I have
been following a newbie DNA email list and another one a little more
complicated but gradually learning things. I also bought a
fascinating book on the subject for the lay person that to assist
people to help do their genealogy through genealogy.

they are based in Texas they seem the most reliable, least expensive
and turn all their results back to research. They are also known as
FTDNA. The hundreds of people I have been reading about for the last
year use them the most and indicate they are the most
reliable, reasonable and fastest re getting your results back. It
seems there are some rip offs out there. The UK seems a little dear.
There is one just locally in Vancouver, Canada where I live but
Genebase has been involved with scandal lately so I do not want to
touch that one. After great thought and research I have decided to go
with Texas,USA even if its in the States.

costs down but more then that create a larger marker study.I can only
contribute my mothers dna. Thanks to men having an extra chromosome,
they can trace both lines. We need men to explore the male
patriarchial line of the Cuzners going back as far as we can. I am
also signed up for the National Geographical study and am waiting for
a kit though those are on back order. I believe that study is more
along the line of geno-geographical studies regarding the migration
patterns of my ancestors that go back thousands of years and I am
excited about that. I also need some more definitive studies.

Please don't worry about taking care of other things for now. The
great thing about genealogy is that you can always come back to it.
You've set up the web-site and Cuzners are communicating and learning
from each other about their ancestors. That's a good thing.

Guess I am a cousin too. I have some info here but it is not put
together yet. I will have to scan some pages but really don't know
what format to put them in. Thought maybe I would make them JPEG and
then you will be able to edit them yourselves.
