ENTHUSIASTIC cyclists are being urged to get on their bikes and cycle
from North to South Wales to help children with cerebral palsy.
Following the success of the Lôn Las Cycle Challenge in April, Bobath
Children's Therapy Centre is holding the six-day event again.
The 254-mile challenge from Holyhead to Cardiff Bay takes place on
April 15 to 20, 2008, and crosses three mountain ranges passing
through North, Mid and South Wales.
Emma Baldwin, fundraising co-ordinator at Bobath, said: "The cyclists
who took part in this year's Lôn Las Challenge had such a fantastic
time – there was real camaraderie among the group."
All cyclists must raise a minimum sponsorship to cover travel,
support vehicle, accommodation and meals throughout, and a specially-
designed bike jersey, with the remainder going to Bobath Children's
Therapy Centre Wales. To receive an information pack or to register,
call 029 2052 2600 or e-mail fundraising@...
