Hi,
Not sure if anyone was aware few weeks back we has major flood danage
done to the foot/cycle path by the bridge where the fish by pass is
(the spot where Eisteddfod was) and has left a huge gapping hole but
this now been recently filled in.
However more work needed to be done as it not or shall may not be
carried out? These are being:-
1) the point where the newly laid gravel foot/cycle path been laid to
the junction of temporary path to by pass enclosed working area for
the new fish by pass need to be compacted as it is very loose and is
liable to cause a skidding and slide action if you are not aware of
it and can result in losing control of your bike!
2) the sand need to be shifted fully as it now collasping under
weight and it is shifting as people and/or bikes goes over the sand
as the weather is now drying out (due to warm sunny weather rather
than rain)!
Is there anyway we can ask the council to get this sorted asap before
someone has a serious accident on this? As I has a minor one where
the front wheel got caught in a shifting sand rut and amde me slide
forward onto the bar hurting me in the region below but no real
serious injury or that but I am aware of this so is now extra careful
but has seen someone come off the bike completely and believe broke
her light but she was ok! During the day is ok as you can see these
happening but it at night that you can't!
thought I bring it up cheers, Peter.
