Dear all
Apologies for taking some time to get round to moving things on after our AGM.
This is a brief summary of the outcomes of the AGM for the Cycle Cardiff group.

Cycle Cardiff committee
Following the AGM, the committee is as follows:
  • Chair/Coordinator: Nick Canham
  • Secretary: Marion Gray
  • Treasurer: Gerri Allen-Manson
  • Rides group coordinator: Sheila Johnson
  • Rides group coordinator: Gwenda Owen
  • Rides group membership: Nigel Baker
  • Alastair Rayment
  • Paul Barrett
Regular meetings
We agreed that the committee should meet more regularly, and with that in mind I suggest we put some dates directly in our diaries.
I'd like to suggest the second Tuesday of each month at 7--8 p.m. in Chapter Bar, with an undertaking to not take longer than one hour. This would start on Tuesday 11 November.
Could you please confirm whether this is possible?
I also suggest that notification of these meeting be published on the website so that other people might choose to attend if they wish.

Finances
Gerri Allen-Manson has very kindly agreed to take over the role of Treasurer. Alastair Rayment and Nick Canham will meet with Gerri to discuss how these finances will be organized.

Campaigning
We agreed that a sub-group would meet to discuss further plans for:
  • events
  • liaison with the council and other bodies
  • working with the Cardiff Cycling Campaign
  • wider strategy
Initial interest has been expressed by Nick, Alastair Rayment, Paul Barrett, Nigel Baker, Ken Barker, Richard Cooke, and Gerri Allen-Manson. A separate email will be sent out to arrange a meeting and to invite other interested parties.

I think that's all for now.
Best wishes.
Nick
