Hi Lisa
Everone has their favourites but I think a good start is westward from Cardiff into the Vale of Glamorgan: out through St. Fagans & St. Brides along the River Ely valley, then up the hill in the direction of Cowbridge. A good way is to cross the main road at Bonvilston and go down past Duffryn Gardens, before heading back via Wenvoe & Dinas Powis.

Subject: [cyclecardiff] Advice on 25-30 mile routes please ?
Hi,
I'll be spending Christmas in Cardiff and am looking for 25-30 mile
routes. I'm training for the MS150 Houston to Austin ride next April (I
live in Texas, husband from Cardiff, I'm Irish) and want to keep up my
training while in Cardiff for the holidays. Any and all suggestions of
routes greatly appreciated. Unfortunately I'll miss your organised
rides on the 21st and 28th December.
Thanks in advance!
Lisa
