martinonbikes - yet another fall-guy for the Council's agenda.
They led the Echo on with the pretence it's about Queen Street, when
the Council officers actually propose to ban cycling daytime on:
Location Direction Location Direction
Queen Street 2 Way The Friary 2 Way
Churchill Way 2 Way St John Street 2 Way
Park Lane 2 Way Church Street 2 Way
Park Place 2 Way Working Street 2 Way
Charles Street 2 Way Trinity Street 2 Way
Fredrick Street 2 Way Wharton Street 2 Way
Victoria Place 2 Way Caroline Street 1 Way
The Hayes 2 Way Mill Lane 1 Way
Hill Street 2 Way Hayes Bridge Rd 2 Way
Barrack Lane 2 Way
Tricking the journalist was simple - don't give them the document.
But surely Council officers don't think we're incapable of reading
past a couple of pages of platitudes and jargon to find this list.
