Look out for Sustrans Issue 4, Winter 2007. Cardiff is the featured city in
their "Discover the UK" centrepiece. You'll recognise what a great place it
is for cycling, no grief at all. Nice mentions for the Taff Trail (of
course), Bute Park Pedal Power, plans for the Ely River route etc. Not much
about restricting cycle access into and through the city centre - surprise.
Cycle Cardiff gets a mention - but only as one of their local links, no such
mention for Cardiff Cycle Campaign or any of the local shops or clubs.

Also a short article on their volunteer rangers. Maybe something to think
about as a group activity if there's something suitable locally. Their
e-mail is rangers-uk@... I'll ask what's planned in the area.

Quite separately, try reporting your favourite potholes via
http://www.fillthathole.org.uk/ Just get as many as possible lined up and
reported at once to avoid logging your details afresh each time. Report, sit
back and hope.....

Paul T

Paul Alistair Rayment and myself actually had a hand in this article. Since Sustrans approached us for input, it seemed like a good way to build a good working...
