Dear all,

Here is my report about my boomerang show for a reklamebureau in
Djursland, a village between Randers and Grenå. Monika and me went
there on 2/9.

The reklamebureau was launching a campaign for the area to encourage
employers to have lærlinge or elever in their company. And so was
also the motto of the campaign "boom en lærling eller elev". The
symbol of the campaign was the boomerang.

For that reason i have been hired to demonstrate the flight of a
boomerang in a professional way. The boomerang the reklamebureau had
distributed to everybody was a made in china almost unworkable piece
of plastic. They gave me a rough time to try it, nevertheless with
this hopeless piece. Additionally we had beaufort 4 windstyrke which
makes it impossible to give a decent impression of a returning
boomerang.

I had about 50 people on the ground and i explained the tricky
circumstances. Then i took a some of my own boomerangs which do fly
and return at beaufort 4-5 and gave a demonstration to this people
which they will never forget. They were totally blown out about every
single boomerang and the majestic curve of the return. They were
applauding cheerfully, and i knew that i had put something into their
hearts they would enjoy and remember.

During all this i was wearing the club t-shirt and club cap, both
made by Niels. This was an extremely well presentation on the dansk
boomerang club and was also well received. Two newspaper reporters
were shooting many pictures of my demonstration and the event in
general. The outside demonstration was about 20 minutes. After that I
also gave a demonstration of fun flyers which also has been well
received.

Today i received a copy of one of the local newspapers reporting
about this event, and it says about myself "…en af danmarks bedste
boomerangkastere, joachim beeres fra Dansk Boomerang Klub…".
