Hi Jens,

Thanks for your answer. I know that the Trefriw boomerang tournament is on the same week-end. However, I cannot wait much more time, mainly because I have a very limited number of places for each country, and some countries such as Germany or France would like to have more throwers than the quota they currently have.

So please ask your Danish friends, and let me know very soon who is seriously interested in coming to Lausanne. Then I'll give remaining places to France or Germany.

I really hope to have some throwers representing Denmark at the Euro 2009!

At this time, I do not know how many Danes plan to attend - partly because it clashes with the Trefriw Boomerang Festival i Wales.

Subject: European Boomerang Championship 2009, Lausanne Switzerland - Quotas

Dear Boomerang-Friends,

As you may now, the next European Boomerang Championship will be held in Lausanne, Switzerland, from August 28th to August 31th, 2009. The tournament will be organized by Marc Schwyzer and myself. Please contact any of us at the following address:

The aim of this first e-mail is to find a contact thrower for each country. His role will be to:

- Communicate the number of throwers that wish to participate in his country.
- Submit the list of selected throwers once quotas are final
- If you wish to do so, collect the advance fee of all registered throwers in your contry and make one payment for the group.

This message is only sent to one thrower of each country. If you don't want to assume this role, please give me the name and e-mail of another thrower in your country. Please communicate the quota you want for your country by Monday, December 8.

Due to the limited size of the field, the total number of throwers is limited to 80. You will find in the table here under the current repartition, prior to your feedback. Our aim is to have as many participating countries as possible, so if you know any other European country that may be interested, please let us know.

Now some additional information. For those of you who don't know anything about previous editions of the Lausanne tournament, you can already find some information in the attached document that was presented at the EBC 2007 in Wales.

The tentative schedule of the competition is the following:

Aug 28th: LD competition
Aug 29th: EBC09 - day1
Aug 30th: EBC09 - day2
Aug 31th: Organized tourism day in Switzerland, if enough participants
