Hi Julie
Yes I agree it's all about balance. Dogs love a good routine - they know where
they are.
Nothing In Life Is Free - some links below which explain it. I am sure most
people do this without realising anyway but it is interesting reading.

Well that was our first holiday away from our dogs for 7 years - I think it will
be at least that long before we get to on another one! We normally go away in
our caravan with them for main holidays, long weekends and dog shows - so we all
get to have a holiday.
Anyone showing this weekend?

Hi Karen
That ones new to me what is NILIF I am always keen to find out about new
things.
That is the trouble when you leave someone in charge I suppose that I am lucky
on both counts , my sister and neice are both dog orientated and have been
around my lot from word go so they are as clued in to them as I am. It makes
going away to shows a lot less hassle knowing that they are with someone that
will stick to the routines in place without fail.
The order in which they are feed and excercised and even down to the paddock
they go into all helps to maintain the balance.
I hope you get your two back on track without to much hassle.
Julie
