yep i go along with that a pair is much better but you can have 3 but
no more than 3 i had 3 for a short time but the 3rd i took on to help
out doberman rescue as she was 16 and i wanted her to end her days in
a home.

my friend has 3 and it works "ok" but the two bitches have absolute
total respect for each other and make sure neither steps ont he others
toes.

i wouldnt necessarialy recommend 3 but i was just outlining no more
than 3 is recommended
