Hi Julie,

Thanks for your advice. I am glad youhave told me this. It will help me to
understand my dog better. He is a lovely boy and I was simply worried that
he may be unwell or lacking the guarding instincts.

Why do you think he does not bark much? I know that if I lie on the floor
he will sit right against me and not move at all. He is very alert when
this happens and seems to know that I am in a compromised position.

I have beem thinking about getting another doberman puppy for Blade to play
with is he at the correct age yet?

Can anyone give me some information please. I have a 14 month doberman male. He is a great dog but there are a number of issues which i find strange regarding...

You certainly don't want a dog that reacts to every out of control aggressive dog you meet. Your Dobe sounds as though he is very self-confident and does not...
