Hi fellow Doberman owners. I originally joined this group as I am
currently living in Australia but plan on relocating to the UK with
by partner (and pets) in 2007. This has been made quite easy
through the availability of the Pets Passport scheme in the UK and
as such all animals are now ready for travel. Initially I will be
leaving both pets with family while I get settled but throughout the
process of investigating living options in the UK I have been
somewhat baffled in my internet searches. Long term I plan I
purchasing my own place as I have English heritage and as such have
a UK passport but in the short term I will have to rent. So I
suppose my question is how difficult is it to find a place to rent
in the UK having such a large pet. I plan on moving to the Bristol/
Sommerset area if this helps. Also, the Doberman has been trained
and has certificates to prove this (not sure if it matters but this
helps in Australia).

I realise that most of this will have to be investigated when I
arrive but it would be helpful to get any thoughts that you may have.
