Can I just add to what Ingrid has said. Alcohol is one thing you
should avoid in all but small quanities, with any depressive illness.
Just after drinking alcohol makes you feel good, relaxed and lifts
your mood. However in reality alcohol is a depressent a few hours
after taking alcohol any depression will become worse.
There are lot of alteratives now on the market a couple examples
similar to wine are shloer and ame, there are other alternatives for
beer etc.
