My mum's side of the family definitely has/had social phobia. I think
dysthymia stems from a personality trait.

Dysthymia in either their parents or children.

Members may be aware that Dysthymia only appeared on the scene as a
diagnosable illness as late as 1980, in otherwords within one generation.

Has anyone notice a trait in their family or do you feel that havng
Dysthymia is from events in there own like?
