OK Maureen. We’ll see who else wants to go and organise cars accordingly.
See you next week.

Hi everyone
It was agreed by majority vote at the last meet that we trail run a change to our Folk Nights.
I think it will add another dimension to the evening and may even attract new people. It should also be very enjoyable for those listening. Here’s the plan:
1. “Open mic” session between 9pm – 9.30pm. And, if enough takers, another one between 10.30pm – 11pm
2. I’ll prepare a number system (1 - 15) and those wishing to give a performance will take one number for each song (max 3 per person – though this may be reduced if demand to perform is high).
3. Performances will take place in numerical order, (so if you want to perform last, take no.15).
Hope everyone’s happy with this – we can only give it a try. If it doesn’t pan out as planned, we can revert to our jam and marmalade LOL
NOTE ALSO: we’ll have a St. Patrick’s night on Tuesday 13th March (a normal date for the folk night). So think about any new Irish songs you’d like to bring to the table – well, the pub not the table but hey ho, you know what I mean J There’s a playlist from last year on the website, so I’ll use this as a guide. Let me know if there’s anything you particularly want adding.
And, if anyone’s interested, there’s a St. Pat’s night at the Manor in Quorn on Saturday 17th March. Anyone fancy going along?
