Hello all

I've just received my electoral roll form for next year. At the foot of
the accompanying letter from our consummately inept council is the
Beacon Council logo which was awarded for 2004-2005 for 'Housing
Renewal'. Given the amateurish manner in which the council has dealt
with residents (mostly elderly and long-term) of its remaining stock of
post-war prefabs, this has clearly been awarded under false pretences.
Four possibilities suggest themselves:

1. It is being used fraudulently;
2. Bristol City Council lied to get it;
3. The awarding body has very lax award criteria; or
4. All 3 of the above took place.
