Re: [easton_bristol) Traffic pulls it off*

*Note. May be missprint. May be 'Traffic rips it off'

So at last BCC Traffic dept. have arrived in Bellvue Road, five (?)
years after NR, heavily prodded by residents, gave them £50K to provide
a pedestrian crossing and modify a junction, with a clear warning from
resident groups that they didn't want none of that trtaffic enrageing
bollocks. (This is an eye witness report)

And what are Traffic doing in Bellvue Road? Fitting traffic enrageing
bollocks, but no pedestrian crossing or junction modification.

Looks like a clear case of obtaining money by false pretence to me.
Theft, Fraud, the usual run of events for BCC. No meals on wheels,
plenty of road cushions. We get what they want, at our expense.

Anyone standing on a platform of abolishing BCC? I'll vote for that!

Royce
