ResisDANCE!
The Easton based Bristle magazine collective
celebrates publication of its 20th issue, in it’s 8
year existence, with a massive benefit party at the
Malcolm X Centre on September 17th (full details
below). For info on Bristle check our website at
http://www.bristle.org.uk, issue 20 is due out
mid-September with a special feature on ‘health’.
This event is being organised in association with the
Bristol Dissent group
(dissentbristol@...), with proceeds
going to help those Bristolians facing charges arising
from the anti-G8 protests in Scotland this July
(Bristle will take just a small cut to fund future
publications).
Have a great night out for good causes, and support
Bristol’s vibrant alternative movements – there’ll be
4 bands, 5DJ’s, projections, stalls & Kebele’s mobile
Kafe. This will also be your last chance to catch
those Easton based, legendary DJ’s Clandestino and
Spinster (who were also founder members of Bristle…and
much more!), before they ride out of town for good –
but come early or you’ll miss them!
