Thanks Sally - this is really scary. I heard a similar piece of news
about a neighbour being hit over the head with a brick on the corner
of Bruce Rd and Gratitude Road (the place they've been torching cars
in the last few months). I think it was a week ago (Sunday night?) and
the story is that it was a bunch of black youths, at night.

Checking the Avon and SOmerset constabulary website I find they have a
list of priorities established for the Easton Beat, as follows

1. Street drug dealing eg off Belle Vue Road.
2. Crack houses and brothels.
3. Licensed premises drug dealing - William Hill's, Stapleton Road and
Ladbrokes, St Marks Road.
4. Public disorder.
5. Vehicle crime.
6. Residential burglary - especially streets off Chelsea Road.
