Hi Claire-Louise,

Thanks for the congratulations, I think its only just starting to sink in
for us all, at points it seemed like a never ending (or should I say
beginning?) prospect!

Many Thanks to BEST for helping us, congratulations are needed for you too.

Our Co-op- met last week on thursday evening and this is the first time I
have had a chance to sit at a computer to write up our minutes and respond
to a huge pile of emails. Unfortunately the council needed to take back
the Laptop I have had on loan for a year (to help us set up Eastside
Roots) 2 weeks ago, im in the process of another arrangement or trying to
get it back!

Our group would all like to meet you and think it would be best for us all
to meet up soon, however i think tommorow is too soon and Wednesday we are
meeting Sarah Collins at Temp Meads. Would This Thursday be any good, our
group finds it easiest to meet between 4 and 6pm, we would like it if you
could come to meet us at the Kebele centre on Robertson rd if possible?

I met with Paul from the Federation of City farms last week and he has put
together a variety of different job specs suitable for the coordinator
post, i am waiting for him to send them to us, it would be of great help
if you could go through them with us to work what we want included.
For this reason i think it would be a good idea to invite \paul on
thursday, although this may be too short notice for him.

During our meeting I suggested Sarah and Mikes idea of using the probation
service to help us clean up and it sparked discussion! There are concerns
within our group about involving workers who may not be there by choice,
instead of willing volunteers. This is not a closed discussion and others
in the group would like to find out more about how the probation workers
are managed etc before closing the book on this.
No keys yet, you will be one of the first to know when we have them!

All the Best, Jenny and the Team!

This

Permaculture group stands you in such good stead. This is well-deserved
and although occasionally might feel complicated, the contract you have
signed should simplify things greatly. It is rather ground-breaking and

This means that we will have to "employ" Eastside Roots as a consultant
to

to

possible please. A job description, recruitment expectations and salary.
You and I can then talk about how to position it as capital spend.

colleagues. I'll just try a date, would Tuesday Nov 6, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
work for you?
