Hello from Eastside Roots
Just to let you all know that our planting day at Stapelton Road Train Station, planned for 23rd February, has been moved to 1st March.
There will be gardening information, hot soup at lunch, refreshments all day and we will be planting seeds or bulbs or you could even get involved in some clearance work (save a trip to the gymn!). The event is still 11 to 4 and we would especially like to welcome children (with guardians!) to the event.
I must apologise for the late notice regarding this change of date!!
It does mean that you can enjoy a free massage and workshop at the Wellbeing in the Community Event from 1 - 4pm, Saturday 23rd February (tomorrow) at Easton Community Centre (Easton is THE place to be as always!)
The containers are now on site and one has been painted up - it looks FAB - if you are passing.... go take a gander.
Finally....future dates for your diary: Saturday, 26th April will be our grand launch fair day at Stapelton Road Train station; there will be arts & craft stalls (still space if you wish to hold a stall), sustainablility/green/environmental stalls & info, music, story telling, talks & possibly even some theatre. IF YOU WISH TO GET INVOLVED WITH THE DAY CALL ME 0117 9555 451.
Before then if you wish to get involved with making or designing decking or a boardwalk or in designing the space up there send me an email or give me a call.
