Things are really taking off for Transition Easton, starting with
networking events and films... So grab your diaries and read on for
information on:

NETWORKING EVENT March
Tuesday 25th March
Social! (with gardening theme)
The Old Pickle Factory (Baggator Youth Club), All Hallows Road,
Easton, BS5 0HH.
7.30pm - 9.30pm
Following the success of our first meeting (thank you to all who
attended!), we have been inspired to arrange an event focused on
helping Easton people and community groups interact. There will also
be short presentations from some of the community gardening projects
in Easton.
Tea, coffee & biscuits provided. You are also welcome to bring food to
share.

NETWORKING EVENT April
Tuesday 22nd April
Social! (with food theme)
The Old Pickle Factory (Baggator Youth Club), All Hallows Road,
Easton, BS5 0HH.
7.30pm - 9.30pm
As above, an event for local people and commuity groups to learn more
and network around a theme - with presentations from food related
projects.
Vegan food provided. You are also welcome to bring food to share.

HELP REQUEST
Funding Group
We would like some volunteers to help make a funding application on
behalf of Transition Easton. Would anyone with experience, or an
interest in doing it, get in contact with us please? This is a one-off
job, and we'd really appreciate your help!

FILM SEASON

Transition Easton is pleased to invite you to a series of film nights.
All film showings are on Monday evenings at the Old Pickle Factory
(Baggator Youth Club), All Hallows Road, Easton, BS5 0HH.
Doors open at 7pm. Films start at 7.30pm.
Open discussion will follow the film, with a finish time of 9.30pm.

The Power of Community
Cuba's story of transition from a highly mechanised, industrial
agricultural system, to one using organic methods of farming, and
local urban gardens. An inspirational film of post-peak oil options.

CYCLE PATH CELEBRATION
Sunday 30th March
We will be attending the cycle path celebration on Sunday 30th March
(approx 2.45 at Devon Road access). Please come along and support your
path, chat to us, have fun, get some exercise, socialise, network,
etc, etc!
