Dear All
Friday 11th April:
Our Forest of Avon larch for the decking, shelter & play train is still being milled (its a big job) - so this work will now start next Friday 18th April and not this Friday 11th. This does free you up for 'Freds Wormery Workshop' at Trinity Community Arts Centre Garden at the top of Old Market from 1pm to 3pm (tomorrow's normal volunteering day is also running from 11 to 4.30 - help them plant seeds & tend the beds). We are also still having a work day at Stapelton Road train station if you wish to help rake out the wood chip delivery & work on the compost toilet construction.
Tuesday 15th & Friday 18th April and ongoing:
Our volunteer days down at Trinity have quite literally doubled in number. You can now go down and have fun in the garden twice a week. 11 until 4.30, later if Tom cant pull himself away.
Wednesday 16th & Friday 18th April:
Saturday 19th to 25th April:
Our Stapelton Road Train Station workdays will be Wednesday and Friday. 10.30am to 5pm. On the 18th April we have Tom from Forest of Avon Wood cooperative starting the decking joined by BTCV and the UWE Community Volunteer Program students. We are hoping Tom will then be up on site, putting in the decking every day until 25th April.....there is no charge for the decking workshops & it would be great to get as many hands on deck-ing as possible to get things ready for our Spring Fair.
Saturday 26th April: Eastside Roots First Spring Fair -

If you wish to help run our cafe, would like to perform on the day or have a stall, or would like help make the site look beautiful on 25th April please call Nick on 07810 806 354, or send me an email.

Eastside Roots are inviting Fred Miller back to talk Wormeries, Kean 'community local and long time environmental activist' Lamb is talking about 'Mythology & Folklore of Trees & Plants' and Ill be talking about Forest Gardens. There will also be a physical activity (to be advised).
11th May:

If you have appropriate tools please bring them along - we will be painting the bridge, litter picking, painting railings, sprucing up the access road & fencelines and seed planting. There will also be a treasure hunt for children.
17th & 18th May:
