THE FUN STUFF!
Practical project groups doing gardening, education, Easton
handbook… and more!
We
have had enquires from the Easton network about how to get involved in
practical projects. At recent events there have been great ideas
suggested.
Were you at one of these events? Do you have ideas
for projects in Easton? Maybe things that will get residents talking
about Transition issues, or be visible in the local community?
Drop us an email with your interest or idea and we'll get groups together for specific activities.
WANT TO BE MORE INVOLVED?
Come along to the initiating group
Would
you like to be more actively involved in planning and managing
Transition Easton activities? We're looking for a few more 'initiating
group' members to join us - a bit of free time and enthusiasm for
transition ideas required! Interested?

WEBSITE LAUNCH

OK... so it's just one page at the moment. But we'll keep it updated with events news, so you can always check online for
what's coming up next.
APOLOGY
We
did not publicise on our previous emails that we would be asking for
donations at events. We are sincerely sorry for any embarrassment this
caused, and hope that our apology is accepted .
We have now decided
to offer teas, coffee, cake, and sometimes a meal, and charge or invite
donations for those. We rely on donations for room hire, publicity and
refreshments, so your generosity is much appreciated.
If we are successful in securing funding, we plan to offer more `free' events!
THE GREAT UNLEASHING to come, later this year
Transition Easton's official launch
As
part of the Transition Bristol initiative, Transition Easton is
planning to have a big launch event later this year. It's at this point
that working groups will welcome new members, or new ones will start
up; and begin planning for energy independence. What might this event
look like? What would happen there? Where would it take place?
If you can think up ideas for this, please come to the celebration on Tuesday 20th May (see details above).
