Dear All
Great Western who run the trains along the Stapelton Road Train Station line, together with the Severnside Partnership, are organising a 'Community Clean Up' day at Stapelton Road Station this Sunday from 10am until 3pm.
As well as helping Easton get the train station we deserve this will also help the Community Garden Centre that we are creating together with the people of Easton. The work on the day will include painting part of the bridge over the tracks, painting the wall next to the mural to reduce graffiti, weed the bank from St Mark's Road, make the access road look better and clear vegetation across the whole station (so that the bramble & weeds can be replaced by thoughtful planting to bring beauty & colour to the site).
Great Western are paying the new Thali on St Marks Road to bring up a tasty free lunch for all volunteers, and tools and gloves will be provided. If you can spare anything from half an hour to the full five hours this Sunday please join us........have fun, meet the community, get some exercise and maybe even a tan!
Look forward to catching up with some of you.
warm wishes

PS Thanks to so many of you who made our Spring Fayre such a success. Full email regarding our future events will be sent out very shortly
